How to extract selected PDF pages into one new file
Choose page numbers and ranges, preserve the requested order, avoid duplicate selections, and check the downloaded PDF.
Open the toolCheck the source and choose the right task
Use Extract PDF Pages when you want a subset of a document as one new PDF. This is page extraction, not extracting editable text, reading a scan with OCR or saving every page as a separate file. Open the source and count its physical pages before entering a selection. Printed page labels may differ from their position in the file. For example, an unnumbered cover is still the first PDF page. Keep the original document so you can recover pages that you leave out.
Enter page numbers and ranges
Choose one PDF file. In Pages to extract, enter 1,3-5 to take the first, third, fourth and fifth pages in that order. Select Extract & download pages. The tool prepares one file named kervoni-extracted.pdf, and the status reports how many source pages were selected. The range includes both endpoints. Use commas between selections and a hyphen within a forward range. There is no thumbnail picker or automatic odd/even selection button in the current interface.
Use selection order deliberately
The output follows the order you type rather than always sorting the pages. For a five-page source, 3,1-2 produces three pages: original page 3 first, then pages 1 and 2. Check that this is the order you intended. Entering 1,1 is rejected because duplicate pages are not supported. So is an overlapping selection such as 1-3,3-4. A backwards range such as 5-3 is not a request to reverse pages; rewrite the desired order as separate valid selections instead.
Respect file and document limits
The interface labels the file limit as 20 MB; the implementation allows 20 × 1024 × 1024 bytes, with at most 200 source pages. Selection text is limited to 2,000 characters. Use page numbers from 1 through the actual source count; page 0 and a missing page are invalid. Encrypted PDFs and documents with form or signature fields are not supported. Bookmarks and attachments are not preserved. Use an appropriate plain source for this workflow rather than expecting interactive or signed-document behavior to survive.
Inspect the downloaded document before using it
Open the new file from your downloads and verify its page count, order, orientation and visible content. For the 3,1-2 example, confirm that all three expected pages are present. Page extraction is not a compression guarantee; fewer pages do not promise a particular file-size reduction. The tool processes the file locally without uploading it. Clear resets the chosen file and selection, but does not remove a PDF you already downloaded. Keep the original alongside the checked output until you are satisfied with the result.
