About this tool
Build a campaign URL for a newsletter, social post or QR campaign. Add source, medium and campaign name; term and content are optional. This tool labels a link without opening it or setting up analytics.
How to use
- Enter the destination URL, source (for example newsletter), medium (email) and campaign name (autumn).
- Build the link, review the result and copy it. Replacing existing UTM tags requires selecting the replacement option; blank optional fields remove old optional tags.
Example
https://example.com/offer?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=autumn identifies an email newsletter campaign. Existing unrelated parameters and a #fragment are retained.

Does creating a UTM link set up analytics?
No. The destination site needs analytics that supports campaign parameters. Values are case-sensitive. Use normal links, not signed or temporary URLs; do not put personal information in campaign values. A UTM link is not a shortened or dynamic redirect link.
Do I need an account?
